What to expect
as a new patient
Complete a history intake form upon your arrival. The Chiropractor will use this to understand your pain points, clinical history, and your health goals.
We will use this to discuss your health history, and explore the stresses and injuries that you have encountered. This is critical in understanding how we can best help you.
To get an in-depth understanding of your condition, we utilize a comprehensive series of tests to evaluate the health and alignment of your spine. This includes:
- Visual posture assessment;
- Spinal palpation;
- Posture photo analysis;
- Bilateral weight distribution assessment;
- Computerized spinal range of motion measurement;
- Thermographic evaluation; and
- Surface electromyography scan.
We pride ourselves as being one of the few chiropractors in the industry who run a wide variety of tests to gain a holistic understanding of your condition.
In many cases, spinal X-rays are critical in confirming an accurate diagnosis. They tell us how severe the possible misalignments are, and if there are any complicating factors present.
We work with off-site radiology partners to take your X-rays, and this will be done between your first and second session.
After your initial check-up, we will schedule you for your follow-up consultation with the Chiropractor to go through results of the check-up.
At this appointment, we will verbally explain to you the findings, your suitability for chiropractic care, and our best recommendations on any action that needs to be taken.
If chiropractic care can help your condition, we will want to get you adjusted on the day of your report to start the healing process.
You may feel some soreness after your first adjustment (which is totally normal) as your body is learning to hold the proper spinal alignment after the first adjustment.
Our one-time adjustment fee rate is $100.
